She developed into the highest ranking female Kata artist at the age of 37 and competed in Tokyo at the 2021 olympics at 39 years and 11 months of age but was told at the age of 33 that she is „too old“ to compete at that level („How about that now?“). She was told she was to old to even win nationals.
